CHILD LABOR CONFERENCE:

From Education to Action

WHY: Because 250 million boys and girls, ages 15-14, are exploited in hazardous working conditions worldwide (ILO).
WHO: Charlie Kernaghan (Executive Director of the National Labor Committee), Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (invited), Student led workshops run by CLEA, and voices from the SIT International Community!
WHAT: A gathering to learn more about the facts and causes of child labor and how we can promote action towards eradication of exploitative child labor policies and practices.
WHERE: School for International Training (SIT)
Brattleboro, VT.
WHEN: Friday, March 9th, 2007 (10:00am-2:30pm)
